The Pavilion

The Pavilion in Lisdoonvarna was refurbished in 2008/09, improving its facilities and accessibility. Today, it serves as a vital community hub, hosting various events, activities, and gatherings. Conveniently located, it is accessible from the car park, park trail, and all other Lisdoonvarna Failte facilities.

Kitchen

Our fully equipped kitchen is available for rent, providing a convenient and functional space for food preparation. Whether you’re hosting an event, catering, or need a temporary kitchen, our facility has everything you need.

The kitchen is connected to the foyer with a bar stand, making it perfect for catering. You also have the option to rent the foyer for your needs.

Foyer

Our foyer is a smaller, versatile facility with open access to the kitchen, making it an ideal space for small events. Whether you’re hosting a birthday party, a small workshop, or a class, the foyer provides a comfortable and functional setting. Its direct connection to the kitchen allows for seamless catering, with tables and seating available to suit your needs. Additionally, the foyer features a TV that can be connected to a computer, making it perfect for presentations.

Hall

Our spacious 300-seater hall is designed to accommodate events of different sizes, from training workshops, conferences, indoor markets, pop up shops and stage productions to cinema nights. Equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, our hall ensures a seamless experience for your event.

Our site offers secure gravel pitches for your campervan adventures, providing a convenient place to park while you explore the surrounding areas. Our gravel spots ensure stability and safety for your vehicle. We’re located close to some of the regions most famous sights, including the majestic Cliffs of Moher and the unique Burren landscapes, making our site an ideal base for exploration.

Astro, MUGA and Community Pitches

Astro Pitch

The floodlit Astro Pitch 50 x 36 metres in size, features two large goals and four small goals on a durable turf floor, making it an ideal space for practice and training. Its versatile dimensions make it perfect for clubs and private groups, and its especially well-suited for Gaelic football, soccer, and rugby.

MUGA (Multi-Usage Game Area)

The MUGA is a multi-purpose game area set on a professional turf layout, designed to accommodate a wide range of sports and recreational activities. MUGA 18 X 34 meters in size, smaller than our Astro Pitch, it’s perfect for engaging in various games including basketball, tennis, badminton, pickleball, handball, skittles, and French bowls. In addition, we. offer rental equipment for all these sports.

Community Pitch

The Community Pitch is a spacious grass field that can be one full size pitch or twohalf size EE pitches ideal for younger players. This space is perfect for training sessions and competitive matches, we offer both big and small goals and can customize the layout upon request.

Park Trail

Explore our renovated 1-kilometer-long Park Trail, perfect for long walks or runs while enjoying the surrounding biodiversity. Along the trail, you’ll find steps leading down to the famous Twin Wells and the Woodland Area, creating a scenic and peaceful outdoor experience.

The Twin Wells

This hidden gem, adorned with a stone table and seats, awaits along the scenic River Aille. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of this picturesque spot, where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of County Clare’s natural surroundings. It was once the sight of the famous Iron Well, where many visitors took the water for medicinal purposes.

Woodland Area

The Woodland Area is a peaceful natural space with winding trails surrounded by lush trees, creating a serene atmosphere for visitors to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. Scattered throughout the area, you’ll find unique mosaic animal and bird sculptures crafted by local artist Leigh O’Connell, adding a creative and artistic touch to the surroundings.

The Spa Wells Heritage Centre

The Heritage Spa Wells Centre is renowned for its 19th-century sulphur springs, long believed to have healing properties. The site has attracted visitors since the early 1800s, with people traveling for the reputed health benefits of the mineral-rich waters. Historic buildings on-site include the Bath House, built in the 19th century, a museum showcasing the spa’s history, and a Dance Hall, once a lively social hub in the early 20th century. The River Aille, which flows through the area, enhances the spa’s mineral content, The centre was a key attraction during Lisdoonvarna’s rise as a Victorian-era health resort.

Please note: The Heritage Spa Wells Centre is currently closed to the public, and there is no access to the site at this time. Visitors are advised to check for updates regarding reopening plans.

Creche Cois Céim Childcare Centre

The Cois Céim Childcare Centre provides quality early childhood care and offers a Créche, Pre-School and After-School. Our facilities include a secure outdoor play area and a HACCP-compliant kitchen where fresh meals are prepared daily.

Playground

The playground in Lisdoonvarna offers a delightful variety of equipment for children up to 12 years old. It features swings, slides, climbing frames, a zip wire, and a wheelchair-friendly merry-go-round, ensuring endless fun for kids of all ages. The well-maintained play area provides a safe and engaging environment for families to enjoy.

Amphitheatre

The Amphitheatre features a roofless semi-circular seating arrangement with a round stage in the centre, making it an ideal venue for performances, concerts, and cultural events.
