Lisdoonvarna Fáilte CLG

Lisdoonvarna Fáilte CLG is a non-profit social enterprise established in 2005 to manage over 80 acres of community-owned assets in Lisdoonvarna, North Clare. Our mission is to evolve, sustain, and enhance an inclusive community through access to world-class social, cultural, and recreational facilities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Rooted in Wellness

Lisdoonvarna is renowned globally for its healing spa waters and as the place to “take the water,” with a history of wellness dating back centuries. At the heart of our community lies the Spa Wells Complex and Sulphur Springs, believed by many to hold remedial properties. We are committed to preserving this heritage site and cultural tradition as a centrepiece of Lisdoonvarna.

Diverse Amenities for All

In addition to managing the Spa Wells, we oversee a wide range of top-quality amenities, including the Pavilion Town Hall events space, Cois Céim Childcare Centre, 50m x 35m floodlit AstroTurf pitch, multi-use games areas, woodland trails, and more. With facilities catering to recreation, leisure, education, events, and wellness all under one roof, there is something for everyone.

Supporting Community Growth

Through community partnerships, we work to optimise the usage of our spaces, increase participation in activities and support local groups & organisations. Our Campervan Parking area also contributes to North Clare’s thriving tourism industry. All revenue generated goes back into improving facilities and programs with the goal of strengthening social bonds and the area’s overall development.
